What personal data we handle and why
If you contact us through our contact form or via email, we process your name, email address, and the content of the messages you send to us to communicate with you in response to a request or query. This is based on our legitimate interest in promoting the project via the establishment of effective communication channels with the users of our website.
If you subscribe to receive our newsletter, we process your email to distribute our newsletter to you. This is based on your consent, which you provide to us when you opt in to receive our newsletter.

Who we share your data with
We may share your personal data with consortium partners and relevant personnel from the European Commission (EC), only when necessary for the effective implementation of the project. In such cases, access to your personal information is given on a need-to-know basis and is limited to authorized project personnel. Additionally, we may disclose your data to trusted third-party service providers who assist us with hosting, technical support, website administration, software maintenance, and the management of our newsletter. These providers are selected following a due diligence process, are established within the EU, and are contractually obligated to uphold confidentiality, implement appropriate security measures, avoid unauthorized data sharing, and fully comply with applicable data protection laws.
We do not transfer your data to public authorities unless required to meet legal obligations or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not transfer your data to third countries outside the EEA, unless appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the GDPR. We do not perform any automated decision-making including profiling based on your data.
How long do we keep your data
We retain your personal data strictly for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes of their processing as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Specifically, automatically collected log files related to security are kept for a period of one year. We keep the data we process based on your consent like in the case of sharing our newsletter for as long as your consent is not withdrawn or until it is not renewed according to fixed intervals. We keep the information we process for our correspondence with you for up to 5 years.
We delete the data collected by Cookies in accordance with our Cookies policy. In any case, we will securely delete or irreversibly anonymize all your personal data within two years after the project’s completion unless otherwise mandated by law.
