Europe is facing a cybersecurity skills gap that keeps widening. As digital systems grow more complex and threats more sophisticated, organisations across the continent are struggling to find professionals who combine technical depth with governance, risk, and strategic judgement.
That is precisely what EU-iNSPIRE was designed to deliver. Its mission is to build an advanced European educational ecosystem that trains the next generation of cybersecurity specialists across the strategic, organisational, and technological dimensions of the field, combining cybersecurity, AI, and cyber insurance in one coherent set of pathways.
And currently it takes its most concrete step yet: applications are now open for all three programmes:
– the MSc in Advanced Cybersecurity Technologies & Governance
– the MSc in Advanced Cybersecurity Technologies & Governance by Research, and
– the MBA in Advanced Cybersecurity Technologies & Governance.

EU-iNSPIRE brings together academic expertise and industry knowledge from across Europe to deliver education that responds to real-world market needs. Through industry-aligned curricula, hands-on labs and practical case studies, the programmes equip participants with relevant, applicable skills. Designed for both working professionals seeking to upskill or reskill and recent graduates entering the field, EU-iNSPIRE offers a cross-border learning experience, with full tuition funding available to eligible EU nationals.
Three programmes to choose from
MSc in Advanced Cybersecurity Technologies & Governance — led by the University of Piraeus
Application period: 13 August – 21 September 2026
This programme trains the next generation of cybersecurity specialists across the technological, organisational, and political dimensions of the field. Core first-semester courses include Privacy & Data Protection, Cybersecurity Governance, Network Security, and IoT Security, followed by a second semester of advanced electives — from Offensive Security and Digital Forensics to Cybersecurity in Industrial Scenarios and Cybersecurity in the Political Domain — before a supervised thesis in the third semester.

MSc in Advanced Cybersecurity Technologies & Governance by Research — led by the University of Piraeus

Designed for graduates who want to advance cybersecurity knowledge through original scientific inquiry, this research-oriented track pairs a dedicated Research Methodology course with the same technical and governance foundations as the MSc, before dedicating the second semester to defining a research area and the third to a supervised MSc thesis. It is built for those who want to investigate emerging cyber threats, develop new solutions, and contribute to evidence-based policy.

MBA in Advanced Cybersecurity Technologies & Governance — led by École des Ponts Business School
Application period: 18 August – 25 September 2026
This programme sits at the intersection of strategic management, digital governance, and advanced technology, preparing graduates for executive roles in cyber risk, digital trust, and organisational resilience. It combines leadership-focused courses such as Strategic Leadership in Cyber Risk and Digital Trust, Leading Sustainable Innovation in the AI-Cybersecurity Nexus — with technical foundations in network security, IoT security, and privacy, culminating in a final supervised project.

All three programmes are 90 ECTS, delivered 100% online over three semesters (18 months), and taught entirely in English.
