They certify the acquisition of specific knowledge, skills, and competencies in a defined area. Unlike full degree programmes, they offer a flexible and targeted learning path, ideal for those seeking to update or broaden their expertise without committing to a long-term academic programme. </div><div> </div><div>As part of the broader EU effort to close the cybersecurity skills gap, the EU-iNSPIRE microcredentials are intended to align with European frameworks for qualifications and skills.</div><div> </div><div><b>Three Levels, One Journey,</b> The EU-iNSPIRE microcredentials will be offered at three progressive experience levels — <strong>Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced</strong> — enabling learners to start from their current level of expertise and build towards mastery at their own pace.</div><div> </div><div><b>Fourteen Domains Covered,</b>The programme spans 14 topic areas that reflect the full breadth of cybersecurity topics:</div><div> </div><div>1. Cybersecurity in the Political Domain: Internal and External Dimensions</div><div>2. Digital Wellbeing in Cyber-space</div><div>3. Strategic Leadership in Cyber Risk and Digital Trust</div><div>4. Students can use microcredentials to build a recognised skillset of cybersecurity competencies alongside their degree, while professionals can advance their career in a rapidly evolving field.</div><div> </div><div><b>Offered by the EU-iNSPIRE Center of Excellence</b>, The microcredentials will be delivered through the EU-iNSPIRE Center of Excellence, the project&#8217;s dedicated institution for practice-oriented cybersecurity education. The CoE brings together experts from academic institutions and industry partners across the EU-iNSPIRE consortium, including universities, research institutes, and organisations from across Europe.</div><div> </div><div>Further details on launch dates, enrolment, and individual module descriptions will be announced in the coming months.
